This detox fuses multiple classic cleansing methods into one plan that allows for gentle progression into a deeper cleansing and cellular reset. During this cleanse you will also become aware of certain foods you are allergic to that may cause skin conditions like acne.

You can go cold turkey and remove these foods all at once, or slowly eliminate food groups week by week, or every few days. If you have a heavy addiction to coffee, there are multiple methods to slowly eliminate it, see below.
- Sugar and sweeteners
- Wheat, spelt, barley, wheat berries and rye
- Processed foods
Ideas for eliminating coffee: Slowly begin mixing your caffeinated coffee with decaf until you are completely caffeine free. Alternatively, switch to black tea, then green tea, then herbal tea with a shortly steeped green tea bag, then just herbal. We suggest the tea route, as you are getting many benefits from tea along the way.
This is a wonderful way to allow for slow weight loss. Rapid weight loss can cause sagging skin, and we definitely don’t want that! It also allows your digestion to begin resetting and becoming more self-sufficient. You may find that you had a reliance on coffee to stimulate bowel movements and may have a period of time where you are constipated or gassy. This is a great time to start incorporating healthy additions that stimulate digestion such as:
- Mung beans (always soaked)
- Probiotic supplements
- Triphala supplements (up to 3 a day)
- Dry Brushing (available at K.WEST)
- Sea Buckthorn Puree (available at K.WEST)
- Bone Broth (optional)
- Green smoothies
- Celery Juice
WEEK FOUR + FIVE
Green Mono Diet + Two Day fast
For the first four days:
GREEN MONO DIET
This portion of the cleanse is used to alkalinize the body, clear the skin, and cleanse the liver. It will allow your system to pass toxic mucous. This green diet is traditionally practiced in yogic traditions like Kundalini, for 40 days, and if you are so inclined to do it, by all means do! It bathes your organs tissues and cells in chlorophyll, that nutrient giant that provides us with increased energy, hormonal balancing, acne clearing, pain reducing, anti aging vitamins and nutrients.
During this time we heal ourselves with a constant stream of enzyme-rich, antioxidant-laden foods that will create a centrifugal ejection of toxins. Expect to breathe easier and sleep better due to the oxygenation of your cells. This diet allows us to become creative with what we can eat as long as it is green (no shamrock shakes however 😉
- Green Apples, Green Grapes, Kiwi, Green Raisins, Figs, Pears, lemon and lime
- All Green vegetables
- Green Olives
- Pumpkin Seeds, Hemp seeds, avocados
- Nori and seaweed
- Olive Oil
- Sprulina, Chlorella
- Green and Herbal Tea
- Spices and herbal salt
- Juicing, smoothies, and soups from anything green is highly suggested as they are easy to digest
Only water for two days.
This will reset your body, down to your stem cells. This is the most challenging part of this program, so plan this on two days where you can be the most restful.

- Are Sore – Curl Up With A Hot Water Bottle Or Go For A Massage

After these two days, return to the Green Mono Diet for four days.
It is recommended to stay on the elimination diet for at least one week after.
After one or two weeks on back on the elimination diet, begin reintroducing foods one food group at a time. You may find yourself not even desiring anything you had once been reliant on such as sugar or caffeine. Your system will be very sensitive to anything that you have allergies to, and you will most likely experience stomach pain or adversions. This is a wonderful opportunity to realize which foods have been causing you aches and pains, emotional upset, skin and digestive issues in the past.
